  • Faith’sLaw.org was established by survivor and advocate Faith Colson, who was abused by a teacher in her Illinois high school in the early 2000s. During legal proceedings, she learned that staff suspected misconduct but failed to take appropriate action. Her zealous advocacy led to Faith’s Law, which redefined sexual misconduct in Illinois schools and strengthened employee vetting and reporting requirements to better protect students.
